I would but the thing is when you’ve had surgery for a potentially life threatening issue and such things like bed wetting are a real consequence of said surgery, comments like that are ….. I was lucky. But the prospect of having to wear a nappy in bed for the rest of your life is no joke. No joke at all. But for some it’s a reality and that reality is no laughing matter. So when people make such comments, even it jest, they need to think. |

I was lucky. But the prospect of having to wear a nappy in bed for the rest of your life is no joke. No joke at all. But for some it’s a reality and that reality is no laughing matter. It’s ok to be wrong. I did try some time ago ask for this to stop, nicely, explaining why in a generic way. But it didn’t stop. So the case as you call was not the first time, just stronger. Just hoped it would not be necessary to post a very personal thing. I have tried before without success. It’s OK to be wrong! i have on occasions made a comment that caused upset. Once realised I have apologised and not repeated. It’s a grown up thing to do. There is a massive difference between the odd transgression and repetitive behaviour. I have a line I try not to cross. Some subjects risk causing offence to others, they may or may not but why chance it. Naff all to do with being thin skinned and everything to do with respect. Seems we all have lines but draw them in different places and those places are likely affected by personal experiences. fortissimo is right, we don’t want this place to become like the other forum though it has many qualities. So when asked nicely to refrain from a particular point, the best thing to do is respect that request. Not gagging, just courtesy. Otherwise it can lead to nastiness. |

We've got the keeper, we've got the full backs. We've got the centre backs. We've got the strikers. Midfield? Maybe that Hutchinson? Prefer the Colchester lad. I suppose both or either are depending on the Moncur situation? I reckon that RW thought we were getting Sol back but Middlesbrough changed their mind and gave us their more experienced keeper I'm alright with not having Sol back if I'm being honest... felt like he had too many costly errors last year but maybe I'm just being harsh |

Personally I would have thought RB was adequately covered with James, Clare, and at a push, Galbraith. LB would be the greater concern imho with only Sweeney at specialist in that role. Not necessarily a problem of course if RW plays 3 at the back . |

JS gets through a lot of good work when he plays wingback.Some of his defensive work as I view it close to the pitch in the East Stand is also top form.Has the odd not so good game,but that applies to all players.
