I feel for dohnut on this issue,I get some sayings that trigger but keep my own counsel on it.Otherwise I am generally open on my comments. And you have every right if that is what you think ! |

I would still like another right back. We only have three specialist fullbacks at the moment, although others could cover. Personally I would have thought RB was adequately covered with James, Clare, and at a push, Galbraith. LB would be the greater concern imho with only Sweeney at specialist in that role. Not necessarily a problem of course if RW plays 3 at the back . didn't Richie say recently that TJ can play there so my thinking is he won't be bringing in another full back. |

I take the point about coverage but I think having three main guys covering two of the most physically demanding positions is asking for trouble.
Galbraith did well at RB but I think he is better further forward, ideally as an attacking centre mid. I would also worry about teams targeting him if he played there regularly.
James played mostly as a LB last season. I am not confident that Sweeney can step up to play regularly. Happy if he proves me wrong.

Hunt went because as I recall Richie wanted players with more mobility and attacking intent. Not too sure we got that. Sweeney is the closest we have and on his day can do a job. Maybe at 22 and with decent experience it’s time for him to step up and get his chance. |
