I'm quite happy with our business but all signings are are gamble to a certain extent.I think our season will hinge on keeping Agyei fit for the majority of the season.I think we are another good striker short of being really competitive but with the window still open there's still time I can just imagine our season being a “Score a goal ,shut up shop” get Dan off ,sort of season . You are probably right. Can’t see us scoring many. Opponents will know Dan A is in reality our real goal threat of any note. He will be marked out of the game. Can only hope our wide players chip in a few. And elsewhere too. But we are strong at the back, a real bonus and the keeper looks solid.

I'm OK with the squad. We look physically stronger and there are more young players on the periphery. Another goalscorer would be nice but I see it as a season of building for a promotion push next year.

Maybe a controversial opinion but I don't think we will miss Shaq or Ruel too much next season, both were to inconsistent.
That being said if Shaq came up for loan then we should bring him back as we need a little more depth across the from line.

So unless we can convince them to stay we continue to build rather than challenge. The irony being we want both to have good seasons and if they do other teams will come along.

No clouds on my horizon except for the idea that we might sign Hutchinson.
Could do with a direct Rob Hunt replacement and another striker and would take Forde back like a shot.
Need a DM for sure, but one who is not ill-disciplined and injury prone.
Put it this way - Reading are under a transfer embargo and offered contract extensions to everyone they thought could be handy.

Is Hutchinson as good for us as Prats? I must admit I've never heard of him.

Is Hutchinson as good for us as Prats? I must admit I've never heard of him. Possibly a 1 year fill in. Got a decent history in the game. If he signs he won’t be a regular but someone with enough experience to fill in and do a solid job.

I doubt we’d take him unless we were interested. Chance to prove his fitness to Richie, but also show he can fit into the group.

There must be a strategy for these two year deals but Im not sure what it is. A three year deal means we can cash in if we sell?

A three year deal means we can cash in if we sell? I can only guess the players themselves won’t agree to 3 years. Otherwise it makes no sense especially with some of our young players. I have noticed this window an increase in the three year deals. Ruel at BR got a 3 year deal with a 1 year option. If he does well that’s money in the bank for them. But clubs must trust their judgement. 2 years does make building harder and unless we can extend our 2 year contracted players, it’s another big window come next June.

But you continue with this infantile comment despite its irritation to some others. Just because you find it funny. Clear enough Now grow up
