Monica's dad was a shunter at Ruislip depot (Central line) in the 60s & 70s. He took a fair amount of ribbing from the crew about the Hughie Green thing ... "I mean that most sincerely folks, I really do". Poor lass took her own life days before her 46th birthday Really? How awful.

If he is reported to be on 4k a week, I bet the O's transfer committee have been trawling around to see what they can get for that money or less if they are after bottom feeders that can manage to play 40 odd games a season.

If there's a genuine reason why hecannot get himself fit to play an injury for example then fare enough if it's because he just can't be bothered then shame on him he's supposed to be a bloody professional footballer. He can eat as much crap as he wants once he retires

Some on the other forum suggesting that George had Covid a while back and has not yet fully recovered from it ? Some people, especially it seems young people get a long form of Covid that lingers for a long time and leads to lack of energy and exhaustion. If that is the case for George, then he has my full sympathy.

Long Covid is very real. If he has that, he deserves sympathy.

If he has long covid the club should have announced it. He's effectively hid in the toilets while his workmates do the graft and still taken the lolly. His behaviour was the same at Hull so it rather looks like a slapdash mentality. A wasted talent sadly

Unfortunately Mickey there are too many sheep who ain’t woke up yet or got a clue what is going on. I’m gonna get my popcorn ready! Here we go! Despite so many people dying of Covid, you yourself and many other conspiracy theorist's still believe it never happened. Donald Trump was much the same belief, mocking the illness etc and also mocking the brilliant Dr Fauci American physician-scientist and immunologist who was one of the lead members of the White House Coronavirus Task Force. His advice was frequently contradicted by Trump, and Trump's supporters alleged that Fauci was trying to politically undermine Trump's run for reelection. Trump quickly changed his tune when he himself caught Covid and was rushed into thw Walter Reed national military medical center for several days, where he received all the very best treatment for Covid, much of which was unavailable to the general public. I have a friend who caught covid and had not been vaccinated against. He became very ill and was put on a ventilator and nearly died, still not right more than 2 years after he caught it. Lastly Boris Johnston also had to be admitted to hospital when he was very ill with the same disease. This illness killed over 6 million people worldwide and is a tragedy not to be laughed and mocked about. Lastly, I have been vaccinated with different vaccines around 6 times I reckon, no side effects and did not catch the illness than God !

Mucho gossip in the LOSC yesterday suggesting that George will be out of the door within the next 7-10 days Wonder whether Colchester might yet be the destination. Highly unlikely would be my best guess, especially as Col Utd just signed midfielder Teddy Bishop and already have Jack Payne and Arthur Read both of whom are well thought of.

Based on what?
A sister who died a friend who died a family member who suffers to this day and considered long covid by the GPs
Good enough for me
A conspiracy that required 100+ countries to join forces in the fight ! Good luck with that
It’s real and thankfully largely defeated

Such a gifted player and does not seem able to get fit enough to play. Is it lack of motivation or the still lingering effects of having Covid, who knows but similar to Hull where apparently he was quite content to be mostly on the subs bench.

A sister who died a friend who died a family member who suffers to this day and considered long covid by the GPs Good enough for me A conspiracy that required 100+ countries to join forces in the fight ! Good luck with that It’s real and thankfully largely defeated Like Polio, a terrible disease mainly eliminated by a worldwide vaccination programme, as was the scourge of smallpox gradually eliminated by the first ever use of vaccination ''Dr Edward Jenner inoculated 8-year-old James Phipps with matter from a cowpox sore on the hand of Sarah Nelmes, a local milkmaid.Phipps reacted to the cowpox matter and felt unwell for several days but made a full recovery. Two months later, in July 1796, Jenner took matter from a human smallpox sore and inoculated Phipps with it to test his resistance. Phipps remained in perfect health, the first person to be vaccinated against smallpox.
Even in those long ago times you had conspiracy theorist''s ''Not everyone was on board with Jenner and his vaccine. Rumours circulated at the time that it would turn people into cows. But by 1801, through extensive testing, it was shown to effectively protect against smallpox''
