ME is a viral condition that is not as yet recognised.Of the two bouts of influenza I have had in my long life the recovery has take a very long time. Yes and these feelings of being fatigued get worse as you get older.
In the middle ages, well before the advent of modern day drugs, many people died before they reached 40 years old and common place for many women to die from illnesses they got soon after giving birth to children.

Plus so many people of those times dying of illnesses like Smallpox, The Plague, getting a wound often resulted in crude amputation and gangrene then setting in. No antiseptics, antibiotics or anesthetics to put you out if operation was performed. Yes so many people died young of TB.

Wonder whether Colchester might yet be the destination. Highly unlikely would be my best guess, especially as Col Utd just signed midfielder Teddy Bishop and already have Jack Payne and Arthur Read both of whom are well thought of. Yeah, saw that. Mostly just wanted to hasten his departure. If Southend have got their act sorted yet, they could be an option. We want him out the door.

Unlikely being as Southend are in the National League and struggle to even pay their present players.

Babies dying of a totally preventable condition as vaccination numbers drop. Seem to remember an Internet campaign telling parents about the dangers in vaccination a few years ago and many stopped. With the associated rise in illness. Of course vaccination carries risk, nobody denies that, but it’s a far lesser risk than contracting disease. Covid has been largely beaten by the multitude of us that got vaccinated. Preventing it from mutating and growing. It is now largely just a mild inconvenience that doesn’t even stop you going to work.

Tell the truth, I can't quite work out whether Southend have been sold or not. Whoever GW goes to there will presumably have to be some kind of deal by which we pay part of his wages, but as regards George himself, something obviously is not quite right and hasn't been for some time. Ritchie doesn't exactly sound sympathetic or understanding, so if it's not a physical disorder, perhaps GW's heart just isn't into football any more.

Apparently much the same story when he was at Hull and not a regular starter. At least we got one good season out of him and along with Paul Smyth, those 2 players good form were one of the main reasons we gained promotion to Division 1. At a high cost though, highest wage earner given a 3 year contract for just one good season so far.

Every time I see an extra post on this thread I hope it is to say George is fit and ready to play again.

Hearing from an old mate who was at the ground tonight that Southend and another NL club have made approaches to the club to take Moncur on loan.
