Personally i thought we were terrible yesterday We didnt have a single meaningful shot at goal, apart from Kelmans flick in the first half We tired massively in the second half. I know it was a hot day, but Charlton didnt tire The new system Richie is playing isnt working IMO. When Jordan Graham finally gets back, where on earth is he going to fit in this 'new' system? We miss El miz hugely........we alays were going to miss someone with that amount of quality, but in reality, he hasnt been replaced Donley was anonymous yesterday, hopefully as he plays more he will be adding a great deal, but not yesterday Remember 4 teams will be relegated, and i honestly cant think there are four worse than us. I love Richie, but the raw materials he has been given by Ling and the Board, are of not sufficient quality I have great fears we will be relegated next May. I desperately hope im wrong Oh dear don't 💦 the bed after only two games against two of the biggest and highest spending teams in the division. Keep the Faith 🙏

Oh dear don't 💦 the bed after only two games against two of the biggest and highest spending teams in the division. Keep the Faith 🙏 How’s he wetting the bed k? Tipping us for relegation after two games. Both against teams among the favourites to win the league. One in which we were the better team but for our keeper. Both of which we lost by a single goal. Catastrophising about the formation forgetting that we started last season with a new formation too, changed it, then finished comfortably mid-table. I'd say that's as close to wetting the bed as literally p155ing in your sleep.

Two games in, two modest performances. Far too soon to be concerned, especially against better sides.
But soon enough to be unimpressed with what we see. Early days is no excuse, most players been together for a while plus full preseason. Plenty of effort but not playing as an organised unit. Games will get easier, we just hope like last season we improve. But last season we had and used a poor preseason and issues as an excuse. Not this time quite so much.
Things can only get better and they will.

Have to disagree Doh i thought we were excellent against Bolton and but for two goalkeeping errors from us and a great goalkeeping performance by them we would have won the game and everyone would have been raving about how good we were.Yesterday we went toe to toe with charlton for 70 minutes and then our inexperience showed and we sat back too much and allowed them to come on to us.Considering both of these clubs have a budget of around 10-12 million pounds i think we've done ok zero points i grant you but i always thought we'd lose our first three games

Neither Bolton nor Charlton looked that good. Both I thought offered modest performances and for parts we matched their modest performance with our modest performances. Thats as good as it gets. I struggle to recall too many wow moments from us. The Happe pass being one and Happe escaping a red card another. Not many during 200 minutes. We got lucky with Happe and we got lucky with Clare. And we need to stop dwelling on mistakes, they are part of the game all over the pitch. I’m not big on excuses. We recruit players, we coach players, they do what they do. Kelman misses are just as costly as Hemming mistakes. So I stick by my modest comment. We will get better I’m sure. Too soon to be concerned. But we need to get our act together.

I did think though that we got tired at the back and poor old Beckles struggled to get up to pace due to being a sub. Brown got tired. Warrington had just come on and, again, was not up to the pace of the match. Sitting back was the only option unfortunately. One thing has started to concern me. I'm wondering if Adjei is a "20 goal this season" factor.

There doesn't seem to be much difference between Dohnut's and Mutajido's posts above. We are in League One where many mistakes will be made, people will get tired and goalkeepers will drop balls. I thought our performances were really good considering the opposition and our newly formed young team. We were unlucky in both games not to get at least a point. We may beat Birmingham.

I desperately hope im wrong Bit early to be writing us off. Takes time for new players to show their potential and work a new system. We didn’t deserve to lose to Bolton and whilst Saturday was disappointing, we’ve played two of the bigger spending clubs in this league and have hardly been steamrollered by either. Let’s see where we are after 10 games before donning sack cloth and ashes.

We would have played 8 league games by the end of September.
That would be a better time to judge our players, budget, plans in comparison to the rest of the league.
I stand by what I say in that Charlton and Stockport will go up.
Two reasons, Charlton will be like us in League Two, relentlessly winning by a goal. Successful but unspectacular.
Stockport might get pipped towards the end but I think they've really recruited well, have a massive budget, a top manager (not as good as Richie) and seem to have momentum going through the club at the moment. I reckon that all may be enough to see them across the line. They'll also go big in January if it's in sight.
But who knows what the likes of Birmingham and Bolton will do with their uber budgets.

Totally agree with the above . 8-10 games and we will have a pretty clear picture of just where we are as an outfit this season. If injuries can be avoided / clear up then it will be a great help because it seems as though the limited investment in the playing budget so far during this close season has left the squad looking a bit threadbare.

There is room for improvement for all the players,I do hope it is soon and we can the start to be the team we think we are.The Dan Agei comment has not passed my mind either, but maybe that is because how close he is marked.

Well I agree to some about Charlton but also agree how well we played v Bolton. Some teams can be your bogy team. I am confident that we will beat Birmingham 2 1 on Saturday. And our new young player will score.

League one is a funny old League literally anyone can beat anyone on their day look at last season. We lost at home to burton and fleetwood and won away against portsmouth and beat Bolton and Oxford.Therers probably loads of similar results other teams can come up with aswell.I say look at the table around November/December and you will have a good idea of where we'll finish
