No surprise. Will he even be offered the job? Who knows other than the Blackpool board at the moment. Possibly not despite the odds.
If he was would he take it?. Hard one. A few difficult years but a decent Championship level club before that, nothing exceptional. stadium is a step up from us, attendances 4/5 thousand higher. Potential better in the next few years probably. Easy drive from his near Bolton home. Close call.

No chance he'll go there if a serious championship club offer came in then yes but blackpool have had 4 managers in 4 years.Crazy if he goes there

Bookies are notorious for getting things wrong. They want you to throw your money away.

If by some chance he is offered, of course he will give it consideration, stupid not too. Could be silly money and a three year deal. Don’t mean he would take it. What we wouldn’t know is what the offer would be, maybe an offer he can’t refuse. is he renting down South, has he kept his house up north?

This move's too early for Richie. Another year or 18 months down the line and things may be different. He won't need to worry about missing the boat, there'll never be a shortage of clubs sacking managers.

Blackpool are probably in a slow decline, not a place for RW to forge ahead in his career.

Agreed. These rumours start up when the rumours about new transfers, etc. die down.

He won't need to worry about missing the boat, there'll never be a shortage of clubs sacking managers. I think that’s the key point here- with the likes of Neil, Lowe and Rowett already out of work Blackpool have a wide variety of ready made options available.

Blackpool are probably in a slow decline, not a place for RW to forge ahead in his career. Do you think we are in decline or just holding on to the status quo.Why I ask is because so many comments have a negative view of what is going on at Orient if we don't sign every player "who could do a job for us".
