You need a new job then I did go south of the river today - cycled Greenwich Foot Tunnel to Woolwich Ferry as part of my pre work ride. A nice 38 .21 miles today. I even had my fixie out yesterday and did 16 miles on that. Longest ride on it in months. I don't know why I put it away and started riding my geared bikes

Can't leave Sth Lunnon job now been cycling that way for the last thirty years...
Fixies are great...So responsive. Not sure if I would have got away with it yesterday on a geared bike....
They seem to have a poor reputaion with other cyclists at work that they are hard to ride....

I think it could be either You cycle into the back of the White car or The white car goes into reverse and you need to get out of the way.

Driver of the white car opens his door.
We have a winner..........The camera is on the right fork so that is very tight with the door swinging open requiring an instinctive 90 degree right angle swerve.Who said fixies were hard to control?

Inspired by yesterday's posts, I went out on one of my fixies for a ride round the block this morning. Did 50km. Bloody big block, but great fun. Would have done more except I had to start work

Rained on the way back so not so many jokers about...Only a few red light jumping boris bikers and a slow brompton rider who decided to do the same...So I drafted them quite slowly on the CS 3 as it seemed pointless to overtake the.Best to keep the clowns in front. Also no joggers who are also more inspired to go out when the weather is sunny and hot.
Made it an easier ride back after getting up at half four am.

interesting story. By the time they are in stock for many the idea of cycling will be history. Round our way the number of cyclists has exploded. It’s a nice thing to do, always enjoy cycling but round our way the potholes are a nightmares.

You can still get those bikes now.Pretty sure I saw someone riding one the other week.

Please tell me you don't wear lycra?
Only people like Wiggins, Thomas, Frome should wear it. Old fat blokes look silly IMHO.
