Women's team thread 2023-24

We are.  Julian "the Cabbie" Lillington and and Larry "the lens" Peterson are there for us, they are saying the lino is not playing the game, things could get heated.

It’s good to see the goals

Y'know, it was the somewhat broad-brush approach the official website and programme content displays when it came to the women's team that inspired me to do something in the first place. I assume the media people have much bigger fish to fry than spending time and energy on park football teams even if they do carry the Leyton Orient ID. I thought it was a good niche.

Most of the insiders know how to get most of the info via twitter but that excludes 85% of people who may be interested in the what the ladies are doing. Anyway, Larry and I will stick to it for the rest of this season but there'll need to be a review of some kind if we are to start it up for next year. There are plans to step it up further for 2024/25 but our current exclusion and isolation will have to change. 

People like yourself are showing a growing interest, our online and social media analytics show consistent and expanding results.  We're proud of that but we still have no intention of monetising anything, there'll be no ads, no cookies, no user tracking.... nothing. That's how the interwebby should be methinks.         

Only to George Jones, the media manager, with no measurable success.  We're not known by the movers and shakers so asking them for help will probably serve only to alienate George and his team even further.  We will make an attempt to meet with the coaches and a few players in the off-season in an attempt to get them on side and make an agreement for next season.
