Nigel says, expect activity in the next couple of weeks regarding being players in. It would really help if Sotiriou and James could decide if they are going to move on, or sign for the club again. It's been ages now since they had a contract offer. Has Archibald signed yet 🤔 Seems like Theo has been offered a new contract but yet to agree terms. Same case also applies with Ruel and Tom James.

DR the reason that all transfers in the EFL are undisclosed is so that the club who receives the funds can't be taken advantage of as suddenly they have x amount to theoretically spend. Its an attempt to keep the money in the club without fees being artificially being inflated, like we see in the Premier league. Yes that makes sense and yet it was rumored that Os sold Hector for around £300,000 and then paid much the same amount of money to bring in Moncur ? Wonder if that was true or down to people just guessing ?

If they continue to negotiate terms that is a positive sign. Just finding the middle ground. Of course whilst keeping an eye out on what’s available elsewhere. id be surprised if Ruel and Tom don’t have options elsewhere. So long as we are looking at alternatives to both and not hanging on. If they are good enough and available, then they can replace James and Soteriou

Seems as though Peterborough may have pulled off a bit of a coup by signing highly rated 22 year old Altrincham FC midfielder Chris Conn- Clarke on a 3 year deal. The Posh certainly seem to have a very effective scouting network when it comes to picking up National League players. www.theposh.com/news/chris-conn-clarke-joins-posh-altrincham

From what I hear this season is going to be s*** or bust at Charlton. It won't mean they are skint or in financial trouble, but they are throwing a lot of money at the team to get up this coming season. Jones is on a lot of dough to deliver promotion.

Peterborough are quite clever in my opinion as a sort of stockbroker of the lower leagues . Buying at the lowest price and selling when a players worth is at its greatest.

Whatever their setup is we could certainly look to lever the good bits and utilise within our club. They are good at finding those players and their network would appear to be further evolved and developed than ours at present as we continue to play catch up. We are getting more right than wrong, but as in every business you are always looking to find ways of improving and or doing things better than before.

Thats fine but you need the money to speculate and we currently have owners already funding huge losses to keep us going. Not to mention ground improvements. Our owners are astute businessmen but even their generosity has its limits. We will get there in time but right now we are putting the building blocks in place. Not all speculation pays off, so a loss must also be considered.

Guessing is my guess. Our first signing last summer was Sanders 21 June.

I still think we could be a bit bolder sometimes - albeit within the budgetary guidelines that are in place.👍

Brophy signs new contract with Cambridge. Evans gets in number 8. Moves started to happen. Reaching the really interesting part of the window.

Has Archibald signed yet 🤔 Seems like Theo has been offered a new contract but yet to agree terms. Same case also applies with Ruel and Tom James. According to RW a couple of weeks ago said that Theo has been offered an extension to his existing contract. As he is injured and won’t be playing until January he will be foolish not to sign. Don’t expect any club will offer him a contract.
