He's a player Richie knows well from his time at Swindon,also solves the Right Wing gap we had, smart signing and the depth on the wings is now looking much better with the return of Graham also

I hope he can get him back to his best as my son said "he's terrible, really bad and he struggled in league 2 last season"
I am holding judgement right now and am not really buzzing about it. We had him last pre season, and he played in game(s) as well, so why we've signed him now when he was poor in league 2 is beyond me.
But I will back him and see what's he's got, but I'm totally underwhelmed by this.

If we keep getting players in who knows Richie’s style, then can only be good for continuity during games.

I think he has been brought in for depth as he can play across the front and will be a cheap option (but not in a bad way this time). As with Kelman this is clearly a Richie signing and it's great to see the club has backed him, Richie can seem to get the best out of seemingly average players. |

No way is this a cheap signing.
A starter? Maybe, equally as good as Theo and has played consistently at a higher level to him.
This provides real competition for places.
I wonder how much with TJ as more of a traditional left back, our right side will be more loaded with pace.

They do seem to have dropped in recent seasons. So getting him back to his best is about right. Do that and he could be a decent player for us. Some very critical comments from Charlton fans. |
