I'm excited to see McCalMont operating as a free flowing mezalla in the double pivot but able to drop deep and become a holding carilelo when required by the rigours of Wellens-ball Sadly it seems you won’t get the opportunity as he is going to Australia to further his career in the A League! 😆👍 www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/c903954egkzoA year living in Carlisle will do that to ya.

I’d quite like a minimum of two signings this week please. From what I’ve picked up BB there are two signings close to being done but both unlikely to be finalised before Thursday. A goalkeeper ( unknown) and a midfielder ( possibly McCalmont of Carlisle?). Also likely to be a couple of triallists on show at Hornchurch tomorrow and next week at Welling.🤞👍 Apparently the two signings I mentioned above are likely to be announced either later today or Thursday. A new goalkeeper will be one of them.☕️👍

Sam Hutchinson continues to figure on trial. My Reading supporting friend is not keen. Constantly getting booked and a poor injury record. Publicly fell out with Selles last season.

New incoming goalkeeper seems likely to be Pontus Dahlberg . 25 year old Swedish international. Formerly at Watford and played previously for Wellens whilst at Doncaster Rovers en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pontus_Dahlberg

Sounds like we’d be taking a big risk if we signed him 😳 He will turn 35 years old in August and has a long history of knee injuries........... ''Hutchinson retired from professional football at the age of 21 in August 2010, due to a recurring knee injury''

Has 3 or 4 inches on Brynn (6'4") and was tipped for big things but never really got a break in England. His bad luck has continued with the emergence of Elis Bishesari at Göteborg. Hopefully they'll be willing to let him go for cheap as he has a contract till the end of 2026. I think this could be a great signing for all parties. I wouldn't hesitate to sign him on a 3-year deal (he's not on a lot at Göteborg afaik so we could offer a relatively good wage without much risk to us). Could easily be a €1 million keeper.

Mark Jackson he is a good coach as well. He sure is. Mariners are the smallest team in the league, and he won the championship with them last season.

Could be a quick recovery or just another rumour, we shall wait and see.

Considering their season runs from Mar-November, that could mean he's already returning to fitness. (Can't say I know much about PCL injuries though.)

Crawley eyeing up Joe Wallacott of Hibs to help their goalkeeper strength. Aledged.

''Hutchinson retired from professional football at the age of 21 in August 2010, due to a recurring knee injury'' he Averages 13 games a season over his career, 236 in 17 years, thanks but let's forget about him and move to someone younger, hungrier and has not spent his entire career injured!
