Hutchinson is named as a Trialist coming with us. Sounds pretty likely he’ll be signing, I’m sure he wouldn’t be going to Spain for a week if we weren’t both pretty confident of him staying with us.

If Moncur did indeed cost the £200k that has been speculated , he’s not been value for money imo. Thought it was 300k 😬 Worse still!😆😆😬

I suggest watching Brian Clough interview where he describes John Robertson the winger as fat and overweight and he also in another interview says john smokes just before kickoff.
Well without Robertson they would not of won the European Cup
Robertson was named by Frank Lampard Snr as the best winger he ever played against
Simply all this about Moncurs weight and fitness is all quite tiresome particularly as he abilities football wise is there for all to admire.

Have to say I agree to a degree. As a player his abilities are beyond doubt. What we don’t know is what’s happening behind the scenes to cause George to appear overweight and unfit. Or simply a naturally stocky person. I hope he is well mentally and physically and hope too he can contribute to the squad this season. Nearly 100 appearances for us over the past 2 seasons, 13 goals, something that’s too easy to forget. And a massive contribution to our league 2 championship winning side. Yet many want to have a dig. Let’s cut him some slack and hope that whatever direction his career takes, with us or elsewhere, we don’t forget his massive contribution in getting us where we are today.

As much as George is a great character and contributed mightily to our promotion, he contributed next to nothing last year. He had maybe 3 good games towards the end of the season before getting injured again. I don’t want to be too critical because he’s obviously got talent, and I don’t think his attitude is in question either. But for someone who is apparently one of our highest paid players, we need more from him than he seems physically able to provide it seems.

Sorry to say but l always thought GM was a tad unstable and would never be able to get into a consistent stride of performances to match his undoubted talent. We saw flashes of his skills but on too many occasions, we barely saw him at all.

A great guy etc., ability not in doubt, but ultimately just wasn't performing.

Seems like he is a talented footballer who has a happy personality but not that bothered if he is not playing week in week out. That mindset might change when his playing days finish and he has to start looking for another job.

Little doubt about his talent and I’ve never seen any evidence that his attitude when on the pitch is anything other than good but for some reason it doesn’t seem to translate into a consistent end product. Shame, but there you are.

I found something like this out when I ran my own football club, all be it at a lower level. Quite often the most talented players found it all too easy and were often the worst trainers so often the less talented players who showed more determination to train hard, think about their game and try hard to improve themselves, were the ones who in the long run, became some of the best and most consistent players.

Seems he's lost interest in football. With his behaviour at hull and here, maybe his future lies in church work.

Can recall frank Clark let comfort go to bible school once a week when he was with us. Maybe RW will do the same if GM stays here!
