Can recall frank Clark let comfort go to bible school once a week when he was with us. Maybe RW will do the same if GM stays here! So long as he has to run there and back, I'd support it.

I will be gutted if he were to go. He has an ability you can’t teach. I know he has strong beliefs and there is nothing wrong with that, if only he just believed a little more in his football the man would be unplayable. He just needs to focus on getting fit and then showing his Lord Jesus what a good messenger he is by setting a great example to the young children to follow football or sport in life for their own development and betterment.

John Robertson did it week in week out.. That's the difference. Maybe because he was selected week in and week out and not kept being taken off I can’t see how any player can be continually match fit if they are not encouraged to play the whole match, if by others decisions they cannot be on the pitch

For me, George is too often in a position where he can't receive a pass so is not an active participant in the game.

Have you considered that actually GM may have more football awareness and it may be the team mates that take up the wrong option or position. We would both have to be FA coaches with all the data to make an accurate determination of the matches.

.... Have you considered that actually GM may have more football awareness and it may be the team mates that take up the wrong option or position? l have but, as you say, as a mere fan I'm not so qualified to determine which is the case. I base my view on nothing more than a handful of observations on video - clearly a poor basis to make a strong conviction, one way or the other. The other facet to this is all this Jesus stuff, thinking that losing is god's will so why fight it? Come to think of it, if god is going to do what he wants anyway, why bother training at all?

That's the bit I don't understand Fisch. Surely by telling people if you work hard, if you are professional in your approach, have the right attitude and so on then you can achieve. He can continue to say the Lord Jesus can show you the way, nothing wrong in that either.
That has to be a positive message to send out to people is it not? Then you are spreading God's word. Whilst also being the best football player and person you can be.
That has to be the way?

I think Mungo would ban both of us if we get into the god thing. For me, there are no gods of any kind and belief in one is eminently destructive. Clearly we differ so I suggest we leave it there.

Which is a massive shame Mr B If you get that ability in 10-15 matches it is more than worth it.O those many times as a sub,the team look better with George playing.
