I’m still kind of Hoping there’s a role for GM to play for us this season..I haven’t quite given up hope on him…..yet!

Not too sure we are so overly endowed in midfield this season that we can be writing off a player with considerable experience and talent. Personally I think we need a fit and healthy GM more than ever. Even if it means allowing others to cover elsewhere.

I personally hope to see GM is an orient shirt playing to his style in good health in the league matches.
If he is not well I sincerely wish him a quick recovery.

Much of the comments made don’t stack up to reality. RW not rating him? Sick note? Questionable attitude? Questionable fitness? He missed Spain and the world goes into meltdown. Conspiracy theories boom. We don’t know. Let’s wait and see. We don’t exactly have many better options regarding experience and ability. |

If we'd only offered a 2 year contract he'd be off the wage bill now. Club can't win. Personally I'm happy that George is with us for a season, similar to Pratley in that sometimes it isn't just what you see on the pitch is what makes a squad thrive. That said, George has scored some vital goals for us, holds the ball well, is a talent, and I believe will be a vital part of the team this season. |
