Agreed with Mungo's comments, I don't think I've got out my seat on either game this season. No one is going past anyone and making the crowd get excited. Its as you say a bit flat. A Charlton fan I spoke to afterwards asked me where that left winger of yours was, I told him injured and he replied thank god for that as at your place he ripped us to shreds, we couldn't stop him. Theo, in full flow is proper exciting, as was Smythe. I'm not a fan of the diamond to be honest and maybe it changes when we get get the wingers fit, although as he staked his hat on Kelman it may not happen. I think yourfriend must have been referring to Agyei as Graham was injured when we played charlton last season in both games and Agyei came on and ripped charlton to pieces in the last 20 minutes when we beat them 1-0 And that’s exactly why they had a tight reign on him last Saturday.

We also made easier for them as well. Launching high balls up to him with a 6ft 4 Jones saying “alright I’ll have that thanks,” being the wrong tactics to employ. We should have been looking to slip the balls in between Jones and Mitchell neither are quick on the turn or at full pelt, yet we persisted with a tactic that wasn’t working and allowed Jones to ragdoll him the whole game.

RW was daft saying moncur is unprofessional in public,it will make it so much more difficult to offload him now. Hes correct though isn't he. Deformation is utterance of force remarks Nothing false about someone who openly can't/won't train properly and eats garbage food. RW said ages ago moncs loves pies. Not deformation but breach of contract. I love Georges playing style but he's no use to us whatsoever right now

Very true and very frustrating!! We don’t seem to know how to do that Thor..

I think you mean Defamation. No body knows what actually has gone on, therefore you cannot say "he's correct" and "breach of contract". "Nothing false about someone who openly can't/won't train properly and eats garbage food". Are you at the daily training ground or at his home and watch his food intake? - answer no, thus I suggest you use more articulation based on fact. I remember Steve Cram at the Olympics many decades ago eating a sugary snack the day before his race and smiling at the camera. I guess if GM " loves pies" he may be fine. All depends on the oil its cooked in and the food data of the pastry and contents. Again, have you definitive knowledge of the quality, quantity and frequency of GM alleged consumption. Agree to be of "use" he would need to be selected.

Georges first year with us he was instrumental in getting us promoted, well done George. Well seems we have a further year to condone his behaviour the sort of benign stuff that has kept this club in limbo these past 42 years imo

In a smaller arena, Moncs seems to be a bit Paul Gascoigne, Alex Higgins, Mark Cavendish in that he requires a lot of management attention to keep his fingers off his own built-in self destruct button. Like everyone else here, l don't know any specifics but my Spurs insider mate tells me that Orient needed to convince them that Donley would not be exposed to a toxic dressing room before they agreed to the loan deal. By "toxic", their concerns focused mainly (but not entirely) upon GM's influence within it. I also understand that Prats was directly involved in the discussions and was a key actor in getting the deal done. A lot to mull over here. Don't dispute your in the know information but that's a few big statements. I see nothing from GM over than positivity to be honest and if Spurs don't like whatever we're doing then sod them and take their players elsewhere. Nobody seemed too fussed about GM when we won the league. Not putting GM on levels of Gazza, etc.. but he does appear to have that X-Factor that nobody else can reach, we just can't seem to pull it out of him enough. It may be like what Thor said, we need to build everything around him. Maybe we could have done if he was 24 and we had time. But he isn't and Richie has a game plan, the club has a path it is on, and to be fair, we ain't doing too bad in the scheme of things. I forget now which manager we had when GM was brought in? There's no doubt though that since Smyth left, now GM isn't playing, we don't really have anybody that gets you off your seat. It's a bit flat. Theo does a little bit, and Jordon Graham definitely does, but we need to see them. That'll get us all buzzing again. Probably the best comment so far in reference to George, well thought out MungO.

Watching Saturday it was this exact position which we had trouble with, no confidence in playing up the pitch or presence. Can't expect Donley to fill straight in perfectly especially since I believe he is more of a winger? Galbraith injured and Moncur possibly leaving, we desperately need a good player to put in there
With Brown having a bit of an off game we looked lost in the middle, affected the whole team

The best of our midfield players on Saturday by a considerable distance imho.

I think he'll do well there non league is a bit slower than league one and he'll get time on the ball and in reality he's much too good for that level. He did what we needed from him in league two and was instrumental in getting us promoted so i wish him well could be a good fit

Wonder how much of his wage are paying the mud dwellers each week.remember the kursall and the distorted mirrors. George will go in and look slim! I like many will read their board often to see what happens.

He looks slim in the pictures released, so he must have put some work in.
Gutted it didn't work out here, but I trust Richie and he knows more than any of us the reality.
Thank you George for your service, loved watching you play and I wish you all the best for the future.

Is it just me or does it strike anyone else as peculiar that Southend are pleased to take Moncur on their books despite - seemingly- any concerns about the long litany of injury and illness that he has apparently dogged him over the last 6 months with us?🤔😆
