The IOC has been clear on this. The IBA has not. If you want clarification, ignore what the IBA has to say until they substantiate their claims. Until they do there is no reason to believe the cases of Khelif and Yu-Ting are equivalent to the Caster Semenya case. Yes, there are gender issues in sport that need further consideration, but do Khelif and Yu-Ting have anything to do with that? At the moment there's no serious evidence to suggest that they might be. Totally accept what you say about the IBA. But what it has done, even for dubious reasons, is highlight an issue that needs addressing for the sake of everyone, including the boxers themselves. The only reason I recalled the Semenya case was due to the IAAF case and they were, as far as I am aware, a respectable body. Their conclusions I believe remain part of the sporting requirements to this day. Raised testosterone offers an unfair advantage. It is their conclusion and not the IBA that questions the boxers. It needs to be resolved and by the IOC.

What a 100m final that was. The commentator said it was the fastest ever race over that distance. I think last place 9.92 unreal speed.

Sky Brown wins a bronze medal in skateboarding. What surprised me was the love they all had for each other! All supporting each other, amazing sportsmanship.

Gold yesterday in Kite Sailing and one today in rock climbing, neither of which I knew were Olympic sports. And tonight, I kid you not we have break dancing. You heard that correctly.

Better get my matt out and start practising my helicopter! My head spinning and my worm! If a 51 years old skater can still do it then we can still hit the floor! Just might not be able to get up! Ha ha

The Australian lady break dancer is, IMHO, the most courageous and audacious Olympian ever. The Gods high atop Mt. Olympus are in awe I am sure.

Not a great Olympics for Team GB. I expected a lot more Golds, especially since the Russians were banned. A total of 65 medals, just beating Tokyo and the target was 50-70. But only 14 Golds, our lowest total since Athens twenty years ago.
We came 7th in the medal table, behind the Netherlands for flips sake.
Cycling and Boxing fell well short. Someone at the BOA head quarters needs to address our ‘relative’ decline.

Not that bothered. The medal table largely just shows who's currently dominating in the sports that give out a lot of medals. Invest in swimming, basically.
The Netherlands got more golds than us because they were particularly strong in two sports where we can usually be expected to pick up most of our golds: rowing and cycling.
We got the third most medals. I'm not sure if it's still true today, but a few days ago we had medals in more sports than any other country.
That seems pretty healthy to me. Money is being invested in a broad range of sports, not just the few that might buff our Olympic rankings.
